A.J. Wojciak is a seasoned professional in the government affairs and political strategy arena. He has been a partner at the consulting firm Capitol Hill Strategies since 2008 where he advises clients in wide variety of issue areas, particularly health care policy, tax and trade, financial services, insurance, retirement services and political strategy.
Prior to getting into consulting, A.J. worked in-house for the BlueCross BlueShield Association, serving as senior Democratic lobbyist.
A.J. came to the private sector after a four-year stint on Capitol Hill as senior legislative aide to then-Congressman Earl Pomeroy from North Dakota. There, A.J. was the Congressman’s principle advisor for health care and energy matters before the House Ways and Means Committee.
Early in his career, A.J. worked as a Special Assistant at the U.S. Department of the Interior during the Clinton Administration. Working in a variety of different areas for the Secretary, A.J. finished his tenure at Interior as a Special Assistant the Deputy Secretary, managing various issues for the Department.
A native to the Washington, DC area, A.J. holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Villanova University and a is also an alumnus George Washington University, where he earned a Master of Arts in Legislative Affairs.
